John Fahey's latest book, recounts colorful adventures behind the Iron Curtain taking place during his many visits to the USSR as a student, study tour leader, and consultant for a business firm in a site visit to the new U.S. Embassy in Moscow.

Kremlin Kapers is a sequel to his Licensed to Spy, Naval Institute Press, Annapolis, MD 2002. The book is chock full of photographs taken in Russia by the author. A Russian linguist and a student of the language and people, Professor Fahey encountered some fascinating situations behind the Iron Curtain, told in Kremlin Kapers in a descriptive writing style so vivid in his Licensed to Spy.
